founded in 1983, has grown to a membership of over 600
craftsmen. It encompasses villages specializing in either
producing woven strip-cloth, wood carving, pottery,
bronze casting or painting. Its main center is in

The caftan (at left in the picture)has three inlaid motifs woven into the central strip, decorating the front and the back of this graceful dress, suitable for day and evening wear.
